Receding Waters began as a minstry

God called me to begin Receding Waters in November 2025. That ministry began through my own personal walk with God. From suicidal ideation, to idolatry, to lukewarm Christianity, to believing false doctrine—God saved my life and redeemed me. Now, I teach the Word at Receding Waters.

Fast forward a few months, God told me to begin this brand, creating apperal rooted in scripture and delcarations of our faith in Jesus Christ.

Through the teaching I give to this brand, I'm truly passionate about one thing...


What is lukewarm Christianity?

Jesus spoke about being lukewarm in Revelation 3:16. Those who are lukewarm aren’t sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit. They lack spiritual hunger or desire. They live by the ways of the world rather than the ways of the Spirit. They tend to seek God when they have needs rather than for intimacy.

They don’t rely on God nor do they revere him. They do not fear the Lord as the Bible calls us to do so. And one of the worst parts? Lukewarm Christians straddle the fence. They believe the Bible when it’s convenient for them, or they believe some of it and throw away the rest. They want healing, prosperity, blessing, miracles, signs, and wonders, but where is intimacy with God? Where is the reverence of the Lord? Where’s the relationship with the Lord?

Every piece of apparel combats this plague of lukewarm Christianity. Every shirt, sweatshirt, and hoodie is a reminder to you and those who read what you're wearing that we're called to be bold and fearless in our faith.

This Brand is rooted in prayer, obedience, the Word, and Jesus

Every piece of merch is rooted in scripture or a saying the Holy Spirit spoke to me. I believe we should wear our faith boldy. You never know what conversations will begin or the lives you'll bring to the kingdom simply because of what you're wearing.
